Walk in the Azzaden Valley
You don’t have to travel all day to the Sahara to ride a camel. An official camel designated trail exists in the High Atlas Mountains, just 1 hour from Marrakech. On this trip, you’ll ride a camel for 2 hours from Moulay Brahim to old Asni, passing Berber villages and always with a spectacular backdrop of High Atlas peaks.
Camels, known as the ‘ships of the desert’ are remarkable animals and offer a relaxing way to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Atlas Mountains. There will be plenty of time for some fun photos and a chance to get to know your camel well!
Then you’ll head deeper into the Atlas Mountains to enjoy a well-earned lunch at Kasbah Africa, with sweeping views of High Atlas peaks above, and the Azzaden River Valley below. Here you’ll learn about traditional Berber life and have the option of a walk in the valley to a nearby village before returning to Marrakech. Take your swimming costume as Kasbah Africa has an outdoor pool. This family-friendly day trip can be tailored, on demand, to suit you and your parties tastes for exploration and adventure.
